The Urban School Food Alliance is governed by a dedicated Board of Directors composed of experienced school nutrition leaders from our member districts. This board provides strategic oversight and ensures that our work remains grounded in the real needs of urban school food programs.
Our small but highly effective national team, led by Executive Director Dr. Katie Wilson, SNS, brings deep expertise in school nutrition, procurement, policy, and collective impact. We are supported by an engaged network of food service directors and leadership teams from all 19 member districts who actively shape our priorities and initiatives. We are proud to collaborate with a growing circle of foundations, corporations, and mission-aligned organizations that share our commitment to child nutrition and education equity. Their partnership strengthens our ability to innovate and scale solutions that benefit students far beyond our membership.
Together, these elements — sound financial management, experienced leadership, and a powerful collaborative network — provide a solid foundation for sustained impact and future growth.
